This looks like a great resource for developers looking to search public domain / open source code out there. As google says here: Code Search crawls and indexes publicly hosted archives (.tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar, and .zip) and CVS and Subversion repositories, making them searchable in one place. Results are also accessible via a GData feed, […]

Only a moron would buy YouTube
October 5th, 2006 · No Comments
Via Mark Evans: “You have to love Mark Cuban, who says it like it is. At a conference yesterday, he said only a “moron” would buy YouTube. “They are just breaking the law,” CNet reported. “The only reason it hasn't been sued yet is because there is nobody with big money to sue.” Cuban's no-lawsuit […]

Bloglines just announced yesterday that they are integrating Sqweezer support. Interesting on its own is Sqweezer which basically optimizes any website for mobile browsing. Just goto Sqweezer and enter any URL and checkout the output. For example, here is this weblog in Sqweezer.

SimpleFilter Under Attack
September 19th, 2006 · No Comments

Missed half the dialogue with the audience laughing so hard. There were two scenes that for some reason reminded me […]

Is a view the same as a hit?
August 15th, 2006 · No Comments
Cuban is pretty much right on the money here: Today though, with all the excitement about rich media, whether its video or audio, you hear and read all about views and listens. Which leads me to the question: Just what is a view or listen ? For podcasts, is a listen a download ? I […]

I've been waiting for this announcement for a long time. Finally the greatest comedy show returns for what is likely the last season: Larry David has decided to bring “Curb Your Enthusiasm'' back to HBO for a sixth, 10-episode season. Continuation of the series had been somewhat up in the air since last season's finale […]

AJAX / JSRS / Google Maps / Real-time Network Monitoring Part 3
August 2nd, 2006 · No Comments
See previous articles Part 1 and Part 2. Implemented some changes that are available in the Google Maps API v2. Apparently Google made significant speed improvements so that should help when network nodes update. Also double-click to zoom and continous zoom are now enabled.
