Elluminate Announces Partnership With Thomson to Provide Online Tutoring Support For Brooks/Cole Math Textbooks

Elluminate's vClass(TM) Virtual Classroom Utilized To Give Textbook Users Access To Live Instructor Over The Internet

CALGARY, Alberta, Canada--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2002-- Elluminate, an innovative provider of online, interactive, eLearning tools and services, and Brooks/Cole, part of The Thomson Corporation (TSE:TOC - news), today announced a partnership that provides Brooks/Cole a significant added value offering for their customers while establishing a considerable distribution channel for Elluminate. Brooks/Cole math textbook customers will now have instant access to highly qualified, live instructors over the Internet utilizing Elluminate's vClass(TM) virtual classroom. In addition, Brooks/Cole will remarket Elluminate's vClass virtual classroom product.

The homework help and tutoring service will be available to Brooks/Cole customers beginning in May, 2002.
